FAQs

What state can I be from to receive services?

I can only conduct virtual therapy with individuals who are residents of either the state of Maryland or Pennsylvania, per licensing requirements.

What is your therapy approach?

I view therapy as a team process, sometimes referred to as a client-centered approach. The concept that the therapist and clients are equals, working together to get to the core of what is causing your suffering and learning the skills and knowledge to obtain an epic life, is the foundation of my work. Additionally, I integrate various treatment orientations including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT).

Do you only work with young adults?

No! I work with adults at any stage of life. Feel free to set up a 15 minute consultation to see if I can meet your needs.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not currently accept insurance. I am considered an “out-of-network” provider. Payment will be due at the time of session. I will provide you with documentation, called a Superbill, so you are able to submit this to your insurance, if you have out-of-network benefits.

How often do we meet?

This is individualized based upon your needs and goals. During the initial intake we will discuss the best course of treatment and what that means for how often we will meet. Typically, I meet once weekly or every other week.
